Airline Executive Seminar - 2012
Introduction
Bombardier will be hosting its 5th annual Airline Executive Seminar from September 4th through 7th in Niagara Falls, Canada.
The seminar is designed for airline management wishing to broaden their skills and knowledge base, who are currently involved in network or fleet planning, commercial or revenue management, finance, flight operations or maintenance. Participants will have an opportunity to make contacts and learn from academics, consulting companies, airlines and Bombardier.
This year’s seminar will focus on strategic thinking and decision making. In addition, participants will be put to the test in an airline management simulation game called 'SKYCHESS'.
SKYCHESS is an exciting and entertaining experience with a serious objective. It offers a cooperative learning environment that will help develop communication, leadership, negotiation and decision making skills.
Game participants will be placed in management teams, each running their own airline, in a battle for ultimate supremacy. In order to win, a clear vision, business plan and risk management strategy is required, as well as the ability to stay cool in a crisis and ahead of your competition!
